What is the shelf life of your products?

The shelf life of each products will vary - we suggest that you use up your products anywhere between 6 - 12 months from your purchase date for optimum freshness and results.  We do not use any preservatives in our products.  Keep in mind that essential oils do not go "bad" or "off" but the fresher they are, the more powerful their properties will be.

Can I store my Calm Skin Soother in the fridge?

Yes - absolutely!  We recommend that you store your Calm Skin Soother in the fridge especially during warmer seasons to add a further cooling + refreshing effect.

I love your products and I have noticed that some products do not always smell exactly the same, how come?

Because we always use the freshest, most sustainable + organic ingredients we will sometimes have to source from different suppliers from season to season, which can sometimes mean that the aromas will smell slightly different once and a while.

When is the best time to apply the Flora Botanical Face Serum?

The best time to apply Flora is after cleansing and toning your skin.  Flora is more easily absorbed on fresh clean skin (especially after exfoliation).  For optimum nourishment and hydration apply Flora to your face before you apply sunscreen or make up. Apply a generous layer of Flora before bed. 

There are a few other ways that you can use Flora: apply as a pre-cleanse to your face BEFORE you wash your face to help pull away dirt + make up, use Flora to remove stubborn eye make up or lip stick.  Use Flora instead of aftershave to reduce ingrown hairs, and razor burn.

I know green tea is a healthy drink but why do you use it in your skin + body care products?

Organic green tea is loaded with healthy properties that not only help nourish and heal us from the inside but also through our skin on the outside.  Organic green tea is rich with antioxidants, vitamins + minerals that help reduce signs of aging and add a youthful glow.  Green  tea also has anti-inflammatory (reducing redness + puffiness) properties and astringent (naturally cleansing) properties.

How should I store my products?

We recommend that you keep your products away from heat + direct sunlight for optimum shelf life.

Why do you suggest that I add my bath products to the tub after I run the water?

We want you to experience the full effects of the aromatherapy bath products and the best way to do so is by adding the products to the bath water right before you get in.  That way all of the properties of the essential oils and ingredients are absorbed into your skin, rather than vaporizing into the air.

I suffer from allergies in the spring, are there any products that can help me with this?
